Pricing
One plan per location, priced by how many devices play at once
As of October 12, 2026, eleMusic is priced per location, by how many devices play at once. Solo is $15 a month for 1 device, Practice is $24 a month for up to 5 devices, and Clinic is $49 a month for up to 15 devices. Extra devices are $4 a month or $40 a year each, on any plan, and annual plans cost ten times the monthly price. Prices in US dollars, plus applicable sales tax. 14-day trial. Card required, nothing due at checkout.
The same plans serve every US business location using eleMusic for background music: dental practices, clinics, spas, acupuncture clinics, hotels and schools. Solo, Practice and Clinic are plan names based on device allowance, not restrictions on the type of organization. See who eleMusic is for and the purchasing notes for schools.

Need more devices than a plan includes? Each extra device is $4 a month or $40 a year, on any plan. With extra devices, Solo costs least for 1 to 3 devices, Practice for 4 to 11 and Clinic for 12 or more. See the price for every number of devices.
Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, so an annual plan runs to the end of its year. There is no player box to buy.
Prices in US dollars, plus applicable sales tax. For business locations in the US.

Every plan includes every music station and a certificate in your location's name, and every plan plays the same catalog. Original instrumental music, generated and mastered by eleMusic. No vocals, no ads, no commercial recordings. If your team wants hit songs by familiar artists, eleMusic does not offer them. How the music is made.
Several offices? Each location has its own plan. Five or more locations take 15% off every location. How multi-location pricing works. Specialty groups: see the guide to music for pediatric, orthodontic and oral surgery offices.
The certificate describes our catalog and your subscription; it does not determine your practice's legal obligations. Other music, radio, TV and on-hold audio are outside its scope. The certificate is not a license from any performing rights organization and is not legal advice. What the certificate covers.
How many devices does our location need?
Count the devices that will play music at the same time, not the rooms. A device is one stream: a tablet feeding the ceiling speakers in several rooms counts once. Two treatment rooms that each have their own tablet are two devices.
The same office can need 1 device or 7. Take a location with seven rooms:
- One device for the whole office. If your ceiling speakers run from one amplifier, a tablet or computer plugged into it plays one station everywhere: 1 device, Solo, $15 a month.
- A device in every room. If each of the seven rooms has its own tablet or laptop, every room picks its own station: 7 devices, Practice plus 2 extra devices, $32 a month.
Any number of devices can join your location with the access code. Only as many as your plan allows play at once.
Checkout asks one question, "How many devices will play at the same time?" and suggests the plan that costs the least for that number. Count devices, not rooms: a tablet feeding the speakers in several rooms counts once. You can also pick a plan yourself. This table shows the same math:
| Devices at once | Plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Solo | $15 | $150 |
| 2 | Solo plus 1 extra device | $19 | $190 |
| 3 | Solo plus 2 extra devices | $23 | $230 |
| 4 or 5 | Practice | $24 | $240 |
| 6 | Practice plus 1 extra device | $28 | $280 |
| 7 | Practice plus 2 extra devices | $32 | $320 |
| 8 | Practice plus 3 extra devices | $36 | $360 |
| 9 | Practice plus 4 extra devices | $40 | $400 |
| 10 | Practice plus 5 extra devices | $44 | $440 |
| 11 | Practice plus 6 extra devices | $48 | $480 |
| 12 to 15 | Clinic | $49 | $490 |
| 16 or more | Clinic plus 1 extra device for each one over 15 | From $53 | From $530 |
Checkout takes up to 50 devices at one location. For more than that, email hello@elemusic.fm for a quote.
Why the table changes plans where it does:
- 3 devices: Solo plus 2 extra devices is $23 a month, $1 less than Practice. It is the lowest-cost eleMusic option for three.
- 4 devices: Practice, at $24 a month, costs less than Solo plus 3 extra devices ($27).
- 11 devices: Practice plus 6 extra devices is $48 a month, $1 less than Clinic.
- 12 or more devices: Clinic, at $49 a month for up to 15 devices, costs less than Practice plus 7 extra devices ($52). Past 15, add extra devices to Clinic.
Not sure how your rooms are wired? How to set up music in a dental office walks through speakers, casting and one device feeding several rooms.
Is there an ASCAP, BMI, SESAC or GMR fee on top?
Not for eleMusic music. eleMusic is PRO-free: it never registers its tracks with ASCAP, BMI, SESAC or GMR, so there is no performing rights fee for the music you play through eleMusic. Radio, TV, music on hold and any other music you play still need their own licenses. We cannot control or verify what others register, and we do not promise that no PRO or other person will contact you or make a claim. What PRO-free means.
What does an extra device cost?
$4 a month or $40 a year for each device, on any plan. An added device works right away, and the prorated charge for the rest of the current period is added to your next invoice.
If a room tries to play when every place is taken, it shows a note telling staff to ask their administrator to add a device. The owner or administrator adds one with the Add a device button in the player. Before you add a 4th device on Solo or a 12th on Practice, check the table above: the next plan up costs less, and a room that is waiting for a free device lists both options on its screen.
A device that stops playing currently frees its place after about 10 minutes without a check-in. From the Terms:
While playing, each Room Device checks in with our servers regularly (currently about every five minutes), and it holds a place in the Device Allowance while its check-ins are recent.
eleMusic Terms of Service (version 2026-10-11), Section 7.2, read October 11, 2026
How much do annual plans save?
Annual plans cost ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. Solo is $150 a year, Practice $240 and Clinic $490, and each extra device is $40 a year.
An annual plan is paid in advance and renews for another year unless you cancel before the renewal date. Checkout asks you to confirm that with a checkbox before you buy. To move a location that pays monthly to annual billing, email hello@elemusic.fm.
If you cancel partway through the year, the time left is not refunded, except in the cases the Refund and Cancellation Policy lists or where the law requires. One of those cases: if we end a paid plan with at least 30 days' notice, for example because we stop providing eleMusic, we refund the unused part of what you prepaid (Terms, Section 18.3(c)).
How does the 14-day trial work?
New locations start with a 14-day trial. A card is required and nothing is due at checkout. A reminder goes to the billing email before the trial ends, and you can cancel in Manage billing or by emailing hello@elemusic.fm. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the card is charged the plan price when it ends. See the Terms of Service and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Each location gets at most one trial, the first time it subscribes. The location plays every music station while the trial runs, and its certificate is issued during the trial too (see what the certificate covers).
- To avoid the charge, cancel in Manage billing before the trial ends, or email hello@elemusic.fm so that we receive it before the trial ends. The location keeps playing until the trial ends, and nothing is charged.
- The Terms say: "Before the trial ends, we or our payment provider will send a reminder to the billing email for the Location." (Terms of Service, Section 14.3, read October 11, 2026.)
- If you do not cancel, the card on file is charged for the first full period on the day the trial ends: one month on monthly billing ($15, $24 or $49) or the whole year on annual billing ($150, $240 or $490), plus any extra devices and any applicable tax. The plan then renews every month or every year until you cancel.
- Forgetting to cancel in time is not one of the cases the Refund and Cancellation Policy refunds, so cancel before the trial ends if you do not want the plan. Cancelling after that first charge stops the next renewal.
- If that first charge fails, the music stops until a payment succeeds.
- If the card is removed and no payment method is on file when the trial ends, the plan cancels with no charge and the music stops.
- A location that subscribes again after a trial or a paid plan ended starts a paid plan with no new trial.
How do we cancel?
Cancel anytime in Manage billing, or by emailing hello@elemusic.fm. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. The location keeps playing until then, and no further renewal charges are made.
To cancel online, the owner or administrator signs in to the web player, opens Manage locations, picks the location and chooses Manage billing. No phone call is needed. Each location has its own plan, so cancelling one location does not cancel the others. If a cancellation leaves you with fewer than five locations on a plan, the multi-location discount ends at the others from their next charge.
Except as the Terms or the Refund and Cancellation Policy say otherwise, or the law requires, fees are not refunded for part of a month or a year, for unused devices, or for time left on an annual plan. We do refund in full a charge made by mistake, a duplicate charge, and a charge made after a cancellation took effect. The Refund and Cancellation Policy has every case.
Is there a discount for multiple locations?
Yes. Five or more locations take 15% off every location. Each location has its own plan, access code and certificate, so a group can run Solo at a small satellite office and Clinic at its main office. The discount is applied automatically, with nothing to enter at checkout. Here is how it works:
- What a location is. One physical office. Two offices at two addresses are two locations, each with its own plan.
- Which locations count. Locations set up under the same sign-in that are in a trial, on a paid plan, or in the retry period after a failed payment. Offices set up under different sign-ins are not counted together.
- What it covers. The whole price of each location's plan: the plan itself and any extra devices, on monthly or annual billing.
- When it starts. Once four of your locations count, the next location's checkout shows the discount. The others get it from their next invoice. A period already paid is not re-priced, so a location on annual billing sees it at its next renewal.
- When it ends. If fewer than five of your locations count, for example because one location's plan ended after a cancellation or after failed payments, the discount ends at the others, and their next charge is at the list price.
| For each location | Monthly, list | Monthly, 15% off | Annual, list | Annual, 15% off |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | $15 | $12.75 | $150 | $127.50 |
| Practice | $24 | $20.40 | $240 | $204 |
| Clinic | $49 | $41.65 | $490 | $416.50 |
| Each extra device | $4 | $3.40 | $40 | $34 |
For example, five locations on Practice, billed monthly, pay $20.40 each instead of $24, or $102 a month in all, before tax. A group with one Clinic, three Practice and one Solo location, billed monthly, pays $115.60 a month in all instead of $136.
The Terms describe the discount this way:
We may offer discounts, such as a discount when the same Account is the owner of five or more Locations on active, trialing or past-due plans, and promotion codes. A discount applies only while its conditions are met and may be removed automatically when they stop being met. When a discount ends because its conditions stop being met, your next charge is at the undiscounted price, as shown in Manage billing and on your invoice.
eleMusic Terms of Service (version 2026-10-11), Section 14.8, read October 11, 2026
The 15% still applies automatically at ten or more locations, and groups that size can email hello@elemusic.fm for a quote.
What happens if a renewal payment fails?
The music keeps playing while the payment is retried for about two weeks. If it still fails, the plan is canceled and the music at that location stops. From the Terms:
Today we retry a failed renewal for up to about two weeks while playback continues. If the payment still has not succeeded when retries end, the Practice Plan is canceled and playback at the Location stops.
eleMusic Terms of Service (version 2026-10-11), Section 14.10, read October 11, 2026
During the retries, an owner or administrator can update the card or pay the open invoice in Manage billing. After a cancellation, the location plays again once an owner or administrator starts a new paid plan, with no new trial.
How do we pay, and is tax included?
We accept credit and debit cards only. eleMusic Inc. is the seller, and Stripe, our payment provider, processes payments on checkout and billing pages it hosts. Charges appear on your card statement under a name that includes ELEMUSIC.
Each location is billed on its own. It has its own checkout (the card is entered once for each location), its own trial, its own renewal date and its own invoice, so a group with five locations sees five separate ELEMUSIC charges, and they can be on different cards. There is no combined invoice.
Prices in US dollars, plus applicable sales tax. Where a tax must be collected, it is added to your invoice. If list prices ever go up, the owners of each affected location get at least 30 days' notice by email, and the new price starts at the first renewal after that 30-day notice period.
For business locations in the US. Every location must be in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia. To see how these prices compare with other ways practices pay for music, read what music for a dental office costs.
What else do customers ask about pricing?
What counts as a device?
A device is one stream: a tablet feeding the ceiling speakers in several rooms counts once. Each device that joins with the access code, such as a tablet or laptop, counts while it plays, and only the devices playing at the same moment count toward your plan. See how many devices you need.
Do you charge per room?
No. eleMusic charges per location, sized by how many devices play at once. A room is where the music plays: one device feeding several rooms counts once, and every device picks its own station. Practice covers up to 5 devices for $24 a month.
Can we change plans later?
Yes. An owner or administrator can change a location's plan or its number of devices in Manage billing, and can add a device from the player. Changes take effect when you confirm them and may be prorated, as shown before you confirm. To move from monthly to annual billing, email hello@elemusic.fm.
What happens when the trial ends?
Unless you cancel before it ends, the card on file is charged for the first full period, plus any applicable tax, on the day the trial ends: one month on monthly billing, or the whole year on annual billing. The plan renews from then on. If you cancel during the trial, nothing is charged. If that first charge fails, the music stops until a payment succeeds. See how the trial works.
Does the price include an ASCAP, BMI, SESAC or GMR license?
No. eleMusic is PRO-free: it never registers its tracks with ASCAP, BMI, SESAC or GMR, so there is no performing rights fee for the music you play through eleMusic. The price includes no license from any of them, and the certificate is not a license either. Radio, TV, music on hold and any other music you play still need their own licenses. We cannot control or verify what others register, and we do not promise that no PRO or other person will contact you or make a claim. Whether your organization needs a license for that other music is a question for your own lawyer. Do dental offices need a music license? lists the questions to ask.
Is there a discount for five or more locations?
Yes. Five or more locations take 15% off every location. It is applied automatically when five or more locations set up under the same sign-in are in a trial or on a plan, and it covers extra devices and annual plans. See how multi-location pricing works. Ten or more locations can email hello@elemusic.fm for a quote.
Can we pay by bank transfer or check?
No. eleMusic takes credit and debit cards only, through checkout pages hosted by Stripe.
ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and GMR are trademarks of their respective owners. eleMusic is not affiliated with or endorsed by any performing rights organization.
More answers about setup, stations and the certificate are in the FAQ, and how it works shows the setup step by step.
