Background music for dental practices
eleMusic is a background music subscription for US dental practices, with eight stations. Original instrumental music, generated and mastered by eleMusic. No vocals, no ads, no commercial recordings. One plan per location, not per room: Practice covers up to 5 devices for $24 a month.
New locations start with a 14-day trial. A card is required and nothing is due at checkout. A reminder goes to the billing email before the trial ends, and you can cancel in Manage billing or by emailing hello@elemusic.fm. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the card is charged the plan price when it ends. See the Terms of Service and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

PRO-free music
eleMusic is PRO-free: it never registers its tracks with ASCAP, BMI, SESAC or GMR, so there is no performing rights fee for the music you play through eleMusic.
Radio, TV, music on hold and any other music you play still need their own licenses. We cannot control or verify what others register, and we do not promise that no PRO or other person will contact you or make a claim.

Room control
Yes, every room connected with the access code. A signed-in owner or administrator sees what each room is playing in the Rooms panel of the web player, and controls one room or all of them from there.
A room plays until someone pauses it, so at the end of the day one press sends a pause to every connected room.
Play all starts the rooms whose devices stayed on with the player open. A device that slept or was switched off needs the player opened again, and some browsers then ask for one tap.
Pick a different station for one room from its card in the panel, or switch them all at once with the "Change every room to" menu.
Listen
Each preview is a separate piece of about 30 seconds, made from the station's own recipe and mastered like its tracks, at the station's loudness. Nothing plays until you press play.
Treatment rooms and waiting room
One or two acoustic guitars, fingerpicked slowly. Warm and simple.
Waiting room and front desk
Piano, nylon guitar or electric piano with upright bass and brushes, played lightly with an easy swing or a soft bossa lilt.
Any room
Warm pads, soft drones and airy textures with no melody, a sunlit glow that sits under conversation.
Waiting room and hallways
Lush strings, vibraphone, cocktail organ and a soft brushed bossa sway, straight out of an old hotel lobby.
Waiting room and front desk
Steel pan, ukulele, marimba and island guitars over an easygoing, sunny island groove.
Treatment rooms and waiting room
One acoustic piano playing light, flowing melodies with a warm, easy touch.
Treatment rooms
Slow, simple, hopeful melodies on felt piano, electric piano and warm strings, with no beat.
Waiting room and hallways
Strings, flute, clarinet, piano and classical guitar playing original, sunny, easygoing tunes, content from start to finish.
Every device picks its own station, so the waiting room can play Light Jazz while a treatment room plays Soft Piano. Each device plays its station in its own shuffled order and works through the station before starting over. Compare the stations.
How it works
Pick a plan by how many devices will play at once. A device is one stream: a tablet feeding the ceiling speakers in several rooms counts once.
Open elemusic.fm/play on a tablet or laptop and enter your code, then play through the room's speakers or cast to your TV. Staff need no account.
See what every room is playing and change its station, play, pause or skip from the office.
Made for the chair
eleMusic plays nothing but its stations. There are no voice announcements, DJs or ads between tracks.
Every track is generated for eleMusic from our own station recipes, then checked and mastered by us before it reaches you. How the music is made.

Solo, Practice and Clinic are named for the device allowance, from our dental launch. Any US business location picks a plan by how many devices play at once.
The certificate
One dated page to point to when someone asks about the music at your location: your lawyer, a new office manager, or an organization that writes to you about music.
Every location with an active plan or trial gets an Original Catalog Certificate in its name. It is a public web page that describes the music and lists the dates the location's plan was active.
Anyone you share it with can check it through its live link: no account is needed, and the page shows the plan's status on the day it is opened.
eleMusic does not register its generated catalog with ASCAP, BMI, SESAC or GMR. It does not sell or include a license from any of them.
If your practice uses eleMusic and gets a letter from one of them: Don't ignore it. Forward it to us. We aim to send your certificate, the verification link and a response template within 2 business days. That is a target, not a promise. The address is hello@elemusic.fm.

Questions
eleMusic is a background music subscription for US dental practices: 8 stations of original instrumental music, generated and mastered by eleMusic, that play in the browser on a tablet or laptop, or cast to your TV. Plans are per location and sized by how many devices play at once: Solo is $15 a month for 1 device, Practice $24 for up to 5 devices and Clinic $49 for up to 15 devices. 14-day trial. Card required, nothing due at checkout. Prices in US dollars, plus applicable sales tax.
A current web browser on a tablet, a laptop or a desktop computer, connected to your speakers or casting to your TV, and an internet connection. We have not tested the web browsers built into smart TVs, so to play through a TV, cast to it. One device can feed the speakers in several rooms, and it counts once.
The music streams, so if the connection drops it can stop until the connection returns. The player shows "Reconnecting" and keeps trying on its own. Our sound setup guide covers each kind of device.
Yes. Every device picks its own station. Practice covers up to 5 devices, Clinic up to 15 devices, and extra devices are $4 a month each on any plan.
That depends on your practice, and it is a question for your own lawyer, not for eleMusic.
What we can tell you about eleMusic: eleMusic does not register its generated catalog with ASCAP, BMI, SESAC or GMR. It does not sell or include a license from any of them. The certificate describes our catalog and your subscription; it does not determine your practice's legal obligations. Other music, radio, TV and on-hold audio are outside its scope. The certificate is not a license from any performing rights organization and is not legal advice. You are responsible for licensing any other music or audio you play. Ask your own lawyer if you are unsure.
Our guide Do dental offices need a music license? explains public performance and the questions to ask.
No. The player never uses a microphone and never asks for or stores anything about patients.
No. eleMusic is not the right choice for a practice that wants hit songs or named artists, needs music on hold, has no internet at the location, or is outside the US. It is for US businesses, dental practices first, that want instrumental music in their rooms, with each device on its own station under one plan per location.
Cancel anytime in Manage billing, or by emailing hello@elemusic.fm. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
